About Us

Our Focus

CredenceHealth automates concurrent Core Measure compliance and identifies emerging complications via our unique Clinical Intelligence Engine. We deliver meaningful, timely, and actionable information through our real-time clinical intelligence suite—while patients are still in the hospital—utilizing evidence-based medical research and best practices (e.g. CDC standards and NSQIP methodology). Our passion is to improve the quality of healthcare, reduce costs, and maximize reimbursement.

Value Creation

Consistent measurement and evaluation of surgical outcomes from a quality and cost perspective: As healthcare costs continue to rise and the industry continues to evolve in a dynamic market, the ability to address quality improvement needs and to minimize variances has become increasingly important. Hospitals, health plans, and providers are facing increasing competition in the market and more troublesome economics. Currently lacking is the ability to consistently and effectively track, benchmark, and report surgical quality outcomes and the quality related costs of those outcomes.

Quantifiable quality reporting and standardized methodology: CredenceHealth is focused on providing hospitals, health plans, and providers with quality and cost data for outcomes of hospital patients within surgical service lines. Utilizing innovative data capture solutions and proven statistical analysis that interface with hospitals’ existing data management sources, we partner with our clients to produce tailored, risk-adjusted surgical outcomes and cost models. This approach highlights areas where quality improvement initiatives may be most effective within a hospital’s clinical landscape, allowing client hospitals to quantify cost savings through focused efforts to improve surgical quality and reduce adverse outcomes during hospitalization, based on class of complications, cost of complications, and financial returns. Furthermore, our standardized analytics and risk-adjusted measurement methodology will allow leaders of health plans to maintain a comprehensive view of the hospitals that have the best quality performance.

Proven National Quality Improvement Program Methodologies: Utilizing the proven National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) statistical model, we consistently and objectively capture pre-procedure existing conditions and track 22 major adverse outcomes to create an observed-versus-expected outcome comparison. This process was utilized in the VA Healthcare system achieving a 27 percent reduction in complications, a 47 percent reduction in mortality, and a 50 percent reduction in length of stay (LOS).
